Kampa Watergate 8 Tent 2023

The Kampa Watergate 8 is a traditional style 8-berth tunnel tent with a vis-à-vis bedroom arrangement, bedrooms facing each other, across from a central living area.  This bedroom arrangement makes this tent perfect for families as it gives the adults more privacy at night and also a large living area in the middle.

CANVAS
The canvas is made from high-quality 68D polyester that has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm, that’s the level of waterproofness.

FRAME
The poles on the Watergate 8 are made from robust 12.7mm Dynaflex fibreglass. 

LIVING AREA
The living area measures 2.8m x 2.6m, so you have room for all your camping equipment.  It has plenty of head height throughout the living area and the groundsheet is fully sewn to help with insulation and also keep any insects out.  There are two doors leading off from the main living area, one of which has a wet weather protection canopy to shield the door from any rain and the other can be opened up as a sun canopy using the poles provided.  There are two large windows in the living area which ensures plenty of natural light into the tent.

BEDROOMS
Once the Watergate 8 is fully erected it will sleep 8 people comfortably. The bedrooms are arranged in vis-à-vis layout.  There is a large 4 berth inner tent at both ends that have a curtain divider, to make a 2+2 inner, each with its own door.  This bedroom arrangement is perfect for families because you can have the children one side and the adults the other.  Both sets of inner tents also have organiser pockets on the front wall for extra storage.
