The Vango Tacoma 800XL Poled Tent is constructed from Sentinel DynamicWeave polyester, a durable fabric woven with 70D and 100D threads for long-lasting performance in the outdoors. Designed to handle unpredictable weather, it boasts a 4,000mm HH waterproof rating, and all flysheet seams are fully taped to prevent leaks. The tent’s fully sewn-in PE groundsheet and external storm skirt further protect against damp ground and draughts. Thanks to ColourLok Eco™ solution dyeing, the fabric resists UV fading and uses significantly less water during manufacturing—making it a more sustainable choice.

Frame & Stability – Strong, Lightweight, and Wind-Resistant

Using PowerFlex® fibreglass poles, the Vango Tacoma 800XL Poled Tent maintains a strong yet lightweight frame. The poles are colour-coded for intuitive pitching and pre-angled to maximise internal height while improving wind resistance. The tent includes the TBS®II Tension Band System, which braces the poles in three directions for added security in adverse conditions. This system can be adjusted or tucked away depending on the weather.

Sleeping/Living Space – Thoughtful Layout for Privacy and Flexibility

With a vis-à-vis layout, the Vango Tacoma 800XL Poled Tent offers two separate Midnight Bedrooms at opposite ends of a central living area. These bedrooms block early morning light for a better night’s sleep and provide plenty of room with a queen-size layout (60cm per person). Each pod includes storage pockets, and a toggled divider allows you to combine or separate the spaces based on your family's needs. The living space in the centre is bright, airy, and large enough for gathering, dining, or relaxing. A fully sewn-in groundsheet runs throughout the interior, offering complete protection from bugs, drafts, and ground moisture, enhancing comfort and cleanliness.

Ventilation & Comfort – Cool, Breathable, and Insect-Free

Designed for breathability, the Vango AirZone™ system combines high and low-level ventilation panels to encourage airflow and minimise condensation. Both side doors include mesh panels to keep bugs out while letting fresh air in. New U-shaped doors now zip fully around to provide better wind protection and prevent insect entry. The tent also includes an adjustable rear vent and toggled privacy curtains for a tailored comfort experience.

Pitching & Pack Size – Easy Setup with Smart Packing

Despite its spacious footprint, the Vango Tacoma 800XL Poled Tent can be pitched in around 20 minutes, thanks to its smart layout and colour-coded poles. Once your trip is done, the tent packs into an oversized Easy Pack carry bag, which includes 50% more volume for easier packing. The packed tent measures just 80 x 37 x 37 cm and weighs 25.8 kg, making it easy to transport in most family cars.
