Flysheet Fabric
Polyester – A synthetic fibre made from polymer units, commonly used in tent manufacturing for its durability, reliability, and light weight. Polyester does not breathe, which can lead to increased condensation.
Polycotton – A blend of polyester and cotton, usually around 65% cotton and 35% polyester. This fabric is breathable, highly durable, and helps reduce condensation. It performs well in both hot and cold conditions, making it a versatile choice for camping.
Ripstop Nylon – A strong, lightweight fabric with a grid pattern that resists tearing and is repairable if damaged, often used in performance tents.
