Duke of Edinburgh Recommended Tents
Vango’s Duke of Edinburgh Award recommended tents are designed and tested to perform to the highest standards, ensuring they stand up to the demands of any expedition. Built for group use, these tents are available in multiple sizes, including 2-person and 3-person options.
Each model includes Vango’s TBS®II Tension Band System, providing added stability in challenging weather and high winds. They also come with quick-access tent bags and compression straps, making packing and carrying straightforward and efficient.

Walking Poles
Vango’s walking poles are the newest addition to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award recommended kit list. Whether you’re taking part in your first expedition or working towards your Gold Award, these poles are designed to give you the support and stability you need on every step of your route.
The Camino walking poles are particularly well-suited for Silver and Gold DofE participants. Built from tough 7075 aluminium, they’re strong enough to handle demanding terrain and extended use. Featuring Vango’s QuickLock system, the poles can be compacted down to just 67cm for easy carrying, while the anti-shock foam handles help reduce strain on your legs, knees, ankles, and feet during long treks.
