The Holwild AirTek Birch 4.0 drive-away awning is designed to create a large, enclosed basecamp that connects to your campervan while remaining freestanding when detached. Its layout combines a generous living area with a pre-attached inner tent, giving flexibility to either sleep inside the awning or remove the inner to open up the full space.
The sleeping area uses a 2+2 layout made up of one king-size and one queen-size inner tent, separated by zipped dividers. Sleep Easy+ darkened fabric helps reduce early morning light, while the quilted sewn-in base adds comfort underfoot. The inner tents can also be combined into a single large bedroom if preferred.
The main living area stands at 235cm, creating a bright and open feel. A large panoramic sunroof with zipped curtains allows natural light in while still offering privacy. The fully removable front panel opens the entire front of the awning, with a fold-flat groundsheet to reduce trip hazards and a full zip-down seal for wet and windy weather.
Built from 150 Denier Poly Oxford fabric with a 6,000mm hydrostatic head, the Birch 4.0 is designed to cope with changeable conditions. High-pressure DURA-Air tubes inflate quickly, include pressure release valves, and form a strong structure without the need for traditional poles.
Key Features
Inflatable Frame
DURA-Air inflatable tubes provide the main structure and include built-in pressure release valves to manage internal pressure during inflation and temperature changes.
Bedrooms
One king-size and one queen-size inner tent are supplied, separated by zipped curtains. The Sleep Easy+ fabric and quilted base help improve sleeping comfort and light control.
Groundsheet
A fully sewn-in groundsheet creates a sealed environment, with a fold-flat zipped section at the main entrance to help reduce tripping.
Driveaway Capability
The connecting tunnel allows the awning to be detached from the campervan and left freestanding on site while you are out for the day.
Ventilation
Airflow is provided through mesh doors, low-level vents, and a large rear zipped vent, helping to manage condensation throughout the awning.
Stability
Precision Pitch pre-angled guy lines and pre-attached storm straps at all four corners improve stability and ground anchoring in exposed conditions.
