The AirTek Redwood 4.0 is designed to provide a large, enclosed living and sleeping space that connects directly to your campervan while remaining freestanding when detached. It offers a practical base for family camping, combining a spacious living area with integrated inner bedrooms that can be left in place or removed to create more open space.
Inside, the awning features a 2+2 bedroom arrangement made up of one king-size and one queen-size inner tent, separated by zipped dividers for privacy. The inner tents use Sleep Easy+ darkened fabric and a quilted sewn-in base to help improve comfort and reduce early morning light. If preferred, the inner tents can be combined into one larger sleeping area.
The living area stands at an impressive 235cm in height, giving a bright and open feel. Large doors, mesh panels, and adjustable vents provide flexible airflow, while zipped privacy curtains allow light levels to be controlled. The fully removable front panel and fold-flat entrance help create easy access and adaptable use of space.
Constructed from 150 Denier Poly Oxford fabric with a 6,000mm hydrostatic head, the Redwood 4.0 is built for wet and changeable conditions. High-pressure DURA-Air tubes with built-in pressure release valves form a strong structure that inflates quickly and avoids the risk of over-inflation, even in warmer weather.
Key Features
Inflatable Frame
The awning uses DURA-Air inflatable tubes with a built-in pressure release valve. These tubes are tested to be over 200% stronger than standard TPU and form a stable structure without traditional poles.
Bedrooms
Supplied with one king-size and one queen-size inner tent, separated by zipped curtains. The Sleep Easy+ fabric and quilted base help improve sleeping comfort and reduce light ingress.
Groundsheet
A fully sewn-in groundsheet provides all-round protection from draughts and insects. The front entrance features a fold-flat zipped section to help reduce trip hazards.
Drive-Away Capability
The connecting tunnel allows the awning to be detached from the vehicle, leaving it freestanding on site while you drive away for the day.
Ventilation
Ventilation is provided through mesh doors, side vents, and a large rear zipped vent, helping to maintain airflow throughout the awning.
Stability
Precision Pitch pre-angled guy lines and pre-attached storm straps at all four corners help improve stability and load distribution in windy conditions.
