The Faros III Air Low is Vango’s smallest drive-away awning, designed for campers who want additional sheltered space without carrying a large or heavy awning. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for weekend trips, short touring breaks, or anyone limited on storage space.
Inside, the awning offers enough room for chairs, camping equipment, or wet gear, with large Diamond Clear windows to let in plenty of natural light. The mesh front door and ventilation panels help maintain airflow and reduce condensation during use.
The awning is made from Sentinel Active 150D fabric, providing a balance of durability and reduced weight, with a 4,000mm hydrostatic head for reliable weather protection. ColourLok Eco technology helps slow colour fading over time while using fewer water resources during production.
Designed for touring use, the Faros III Air Low can be detached from the vehicle when needed, allowing the awning to remain pitched while you drive away for the day. This makes it a flexible option for campers who like to explore once set up.
The inflatable AirBeam structure allows the awning to be pitched quickly without traditional poles. Inflation takes around four minutes using the supplied pump, with a single inflation point for ease.
Sentinel Active 150D fabric is lightweight yet robust, offering waterproof protection with a 4,000mm hydrostatic head. ColourLok Eco technology supports long-term colour retention.
Using the pre-attached kador and optional drive-away setup, the awning can be disconnected from the vehicle and left freestanding while you are out for the day.
A fully sewn-in groundsheet helps prevent draughts, insects, and water ingress, supported by an external storm skirt for additional protection.
Mesh panels and ventilation points allow air to circulate through the awning, helping to manage condensation and improve comfort in warmer conditions.
The TBSII tension band system, bracer pole, reinforced tunnel, and high-visibility guylines all contribute to improved stability in changeable weather.
