Vango HexAway Pro Air Low Drive Away Awning 2026

Need some extra room on your camping trips? The Vango HexAway Pro Air Awning gives you that extra bit of living space without any fuss. It’s a great way to create a comfortable shelter right next to your campervan, whether you’re looking for a spot to relax or an extra area to store your gear. Built for comfort and convenience, this model features an updated Pro fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. Not only is it more environmentally friendly, but it also incorporates 420 double ripstop threads for enhanced strength and durability.

Quick and Simple Setup

No one wants to spend ages setting up camp. The HexAway Pro uses Vango’s AirBeam® technology, meaning no poles, no hassle – just a quick and sturdy setup in minutes. A single inflation point makes pitching quick and straightforward, while multiple deflation points around the awning help with an easy pack-down. This smart design provides a hassle-free setup and takedown, whether you're on a short weekend getaway or a longer camping trip.

Drive Away and Come Back with Ease

Want to head out for the day without packing everything away? The HexAway Pro’s drive-away design means you can detach it from your van and leave it standing while you explore. Just roll back the connection tunnel, mark where your tyres were, and you’ll be able to reconnect in no time. The connecting tunnel easily detaches from your campervan and rolls back against the awning, enabling it to stand freely on the pitch. This is ideal for day trips or running errands without having to take down your awning. To make reattachment easier, it’s recommended to mark the position of your vehicle’s tyres before driving away.

Easy Attachment to Your Campervan

The tunnel that attaches to your campervan includes two side doors, making it easy to access your vehicle without stepping through the main awning space. The HexAway Pro offers multiple vehicle attachment methods to ensure compatibility with different setups:

• Pre-attached 6mm kador strip – For use with an awning rail.

• 8M over-vehicle straps – Secure the awning over the roof of your vehicle.

• Roof bar attachment tabs – Connect directly to roof bars for a sturdy fit.

• Sleeve for pole and clamp kit system – An alternative secure attachment option.

These options mean you can attach the awning in a way that works best for your campervan, keeping everything secure while giving you easy access in and out.

Plenty of Headroom and Natural Light

No one likes a cramped space, and with the HexAway Pro, you won’t have to worry. There’s plenty of headroom to move around comfortably, and the skylight plus large windows let in loads of natural light, making the space feel bright and open. Vango’s SkyTrack® system provides multiple hanging points for lights and accessories, while an additional skylight in the main area allows more natural light in. Large, crystal-clear windows give you great visibility across the campsite, and zip-up curtains offer privacy when needed.

Tough, Waterproof, and Built to Last

Camping in all weathers? No problem. The HexAway Pro is made from tough 420 double ripstop fabric, built to handle wear and tear while keeping you dry with its 6,000mm hydrostatic head rating. Featuring 420 double ripstop threads, the material is highly resistant to wear and tear while maintaining flexibility. With a hydrostatic head (HH) rating of 6,000mm, the fabric provides excellent waterproof protection, keeping you dry in all conditions.

As part of Vango’s commitment to sustainability, the fabric is made using recycled single-use plastics, reducing environmental impact without compromising on strength. Additionally, ColourLok™ technology enhances colour retention, ensuring the awning maintains its fresh appearance for longer.

Designed to Handle the Elements

The HexAway Pro’s dome-like shape not only maximises internal space but also improves wind resistance, helping it stand up to the elements. Its dome-like shape isn’t just for looks – it helps the awning stay stable in windy conditions while giving you loads of room inside. Whether you’re chilling out or entertaining, the HexAway Pro has got you covered.
