Overview & Intended Use
This footprint groundsheet is designed for campers using either the Holawild Birch 4.0 drive away awning who want to reduce wear on their tent’s sewn-in groundsheet. Positioned underneath the tent, it forms a protective barrier against stones, grit and uneven ground that can gradually damage the base fabric.
It is particularly useful for regular camping, longer stays or pitching on harder or rougher ground. Laying the footprint out first also helps you choose the best position on site before committing to pitching the tent.
Materials, Build & Design
Made from durable 100% polyethylene, the groundsheet is designed to cope with repeated pitching across a variety of campsite surfaces. The material balances toughness with flexibility, making it easy to handle while still offering reliable protection.
Its shaped design mirrors the base of the tent, ensuring coverage where it is needed without excess material extending beyond the tent footprint.

Size, Capacity & Everyday Use
Once laid out, the footprint clearly marks the intended pitching position, helping with alignment before the tent is unpacked. After use, it can be removed separately, shaken clean or wiped down, making maintenance far easier than cleaning the sewn-in groundsheet itself.
For storage, the groundsheet folds down compactly and can be packed away independently to keep the tent cleaner during transport.
