Pitching Instructions
Pitching Instructions for the Vango Riviera Air 330 Elements ProShield Caravan Awning
How to measure your Caravan Awning
Height:
Vango caravan awnings are tailored to accommodate a range of caravan heights, typically between 235cm and 250cm. When measuring your caravan's height, be sure both the ground and the caravan are level.
To get the correct measurement, measure from the ground up to the top of the rail that runs horizontally across the caravan's roofline.
Length:
The width of Vango caravan awnings is usually indicated in the product name, such as the Balletto Air 390, where the number refers to its 390cm width. To find the correct length, measure the straight rail running along the top of your caravan.
Take this measurement from just before the curve at the front to just before the curve at the rear. This gives the maximum awning width that will fit your caravan.
Note: Some models may feature additional side panels or wings, which are designed to fit into the curved sections of your caravan, so they don’t need to be included in the straight rail measurement.
Sides:
It's also important to think about where the sides of the awning will line up with any doors, windows, or storage compartments on your caravan. Vango awnings are equipped with the patented Vango Draught Seal System, which ensures a snug fit around windows if they fall under the awning.
