The Vango Sherwood 400XL Poled Tent is a premium 4 berth family tent with a strong fibreglass pole structure, generous living space and a durable Sentinel Excel 150D polyester flysheet. Designed for couples and smaller families, it offers a good balance of sleeping space, headroom and enclosed storage for spring and summer camping trips.

Although the Vango Sherwood 400XL can sleep up to four people, it is perfect for couples or families of three who prefer more room inside the tent. The three-zone layout includes a pre-attached front awning, a main living area and darkened bedrooms, giving you separate areas for sleeping, relaxing and storing kit.

The flysheet is made from Vango Sentinel Excel 150D fabric, a strong polyester material with a 5,000mm Hydrostatic Head waterproof rating and fully taped seams. This helps protect the tent in wet weather, while ColourLok Eco technology helps reduce UV fading and supports better colour retention over time.

The Sherwood 400XL uses Vango PowerFlex Fibreglass Poles, giving the tent a stable poled structure while keeping the pitching process nice and easy. The TBS II Tension Band System prevents lateral movement of the tent by adding extra support in bad weather by helping to brace the tent against side winds.

Inside, the Midnight King Size Bedrooms use darker fabric to reduce early morning light, which can be especially useful for families with children. Each person has up to 70cm of sleeping width, offering more room than standard bedroom layouts. Bedroom pockets are also included for keeping smaller items close to hand.
