Vango Omega 250 Tent

The Vango Omega 250 is a long-standing favourite for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and multi-day treks, offering a rare mix of generous internal space and a compact packed size. Designed with a tunnel layout, the Omega 250 gives two campers a comfortable sleeping area alongside a large front porch that’s ideal for stashing kit, changing clothes, or cooking in bad weather.

Unlike many basic trek tents that offer little more than sleeping space, the Omega range adds real usable room while still keeping trail weight low. The tent pitches quickly thanks to its all-in-one design, where the inner and flysheet pitch together, and the colour-coded PowerLite alloy poles make setup straightforward even in poor conditions.

Built with Vango’s updated Protex® Eco Ripstop fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, the Omega 250 is waterproof, durable, and more environmentally friendly. TBSII internal tension bands add extra stability in strong winds, and dual side doors offer flexible access in tight campsites. A great choice for DofE, lightweight camping, and backpacking in mixed UK weather.
