Tents at WM Camping
At WM Camping, tents have been at the heart of what we do since we opened in 1981. Whether you're heading off on a solo trip, a couples' weekend away, or a family camping holiday, we've got a tent to suit your needs.
From lightweight trekking tents for walkers and cyclists to larger models ideal for week-long stays on campsites, our selection is designed to suit a wide range of outdoor experiences. If you’re unsure which tent suits your next trip, visit us in-store or browse our online guides to help narrow it down.
Family & Group Tents
Looking for something with space to relax, sleep, and store your gear? Our larger tents are ideal for families or groups needing more living room and comfort. Many feature multiple bedrooms, sewn-in groundsheets, and generous porch areas for cooking and shelter.
Keep an eye out for models with darkened bedrooms to help you sleep past first light, and tents with integrated porch extensions—great for use in changeable British weather.
Smaller Tents
If you're travelling light, we also stock compact tents for solo or duo use. These are ideal for shorter trips, festivals, or when you’re limited on car space. A 2-man or 3-man tent can offer just enough room while remaining easy to pitch and pack away.
We often recommend going a size up if you’d like additional space for kit storage or a bit of extra comfort.
Weather Protection
Most tents we stock are designed for the UK’s unpredictable weather and feature a hydrostatic head (HH) rating of 3000mm or above. That means they’re well-suited to typical British conditions—whether you're camping in spring, summer or autumn.
For added reassurance, many of our tents include storm straps, mesh ventilation, and taped seams as standard. If you’re camping early or late in the season, we recommend checking out our Polycotton Tents, which are better at regulating temperature.
Tent Accessories
Don’t forget to browse our selection of tent accessories to get the most out of your setup. We stock carpets, footprints, spare poles, and other extras that can improve comfort and help prolong the life of your tent.
